When the time had come for this Mama to have her 20 year high school reunion (gasp... I know, how could it be?), we decided to make a fun family road trip out of it. As we debated on our route and destinations, we settled on 12 days of family fun, which was labeled as the 12 Day Road Trip.
Except, we forgot to count the first day in our count.
Oops.
So - Day 0 was born.
Day 0: Drive from Golden, CO to Sheridan, WY.
Day 1: Sheridan, WY and the Rodeo.
Day 2: Drive from Sheridan, WY to Missoula, MT. See VIP's.
Day 3: Drive from Missoula, MT to Coeur d'Alene, ID with stops in Pinehurst and Cataldo, ID to see some VIP's.
Day 4: Coeur d'Alene, ID beach day with an evening of more VIP's.
Day 5: Drive from Coeur d'Alene, ID to (nearly) Chewelah, WA to hang with Grandma and Grandpa.
Day 6: Hang with G&G.
Day 7: Hang with G&G and Friday Night Reunion.
Day 8: More Reunion.
Day 9: Drive from (nearly) Chewelah, WA to Bozeman, MT.
Day 11: More Yellowstone.
Day 12: Drive from Yellowstone to Home Sweet Home.
Whew! Fun Fun Fun, just waiting to begin.
We loaded up and hit the road.
As we approached Wyoming, we drove straight toward the storm.
Snacks - Check
Neck Pillow - Check
Water Bottle - Check
Car Packed to the Ceiling - Check
Movies - Check
Crazy Drivers - Check
As we were having fun driving the new 80 mph speed limit in Wyoming, Mommy got some great photos until this blurry one. This was taken just moments before the Wyoming State Patrol pulled out in front of us.
