On May 22, 2013, Oliver and 23 of his buddies put on a performance that would make any American proud. They sang the songs, they recited documents and in the end, they made us proud to be an American.
We often hear that Kellan is the charismatic and animated one. He's not the only one. Oliver just knows when to turn it on and shine like the star he is. If you think that you can hear him singing, you're not exaggerating, you are. He sang Loud and Proud! He is proud to shout out when he spots an American Flag and he's quick to explain the history of our country and why we should be thankful to the men and women who serve our county to allow us the freedom we enjoy each and every day.
Oliver and his friends are proud to be an American and if you have forgotten the pride that each of us should carry, take the time to watch these five year olds remind you. Or, if you hold that pride near and dear to you heart already, still take the time because these kids are amazing and adorable (especially the handsome blonde guy in the red shirt).
On a side note: Oliver was SO proud to be standing on the chair in the back row. He said "Mommy, only some kids get to stand in the back row. You have to stand on a chair and that means you're not a wiggler." It's good to know where your pride comes from.
If you watch this and feel an overwhelming sense that it's heavy in boys, it is. 18 boys and 6 girls make up this Pre-K II class. Whoa Nelly.
Press play, sit back and enjoy.
Be sure to make it full screen.
I had to upload in in a small version since it's a large video. If you want to see it in large format, come visit and I'll be glad to share :)
