Our Ham Fam birthday season has kicked off with boxes upon boxes of good times. Oliver knows that we have a birthday order in our house; Kellan, Mommy, Oliver and then Daddy. (This also confuses him as he learns the difference between month order and year order. Shouldn't his birthday come before Kellan's?) He anxiously awaits Kellan's birthday with anticipation that his is just around the corner. In time, Kellan will learn this same system and be just as excited for his own birthday. As his big day approached, the mailman got a work out. First up, a big Target box from Grandma and Grandpa Garner. We waited for a few days and then the weekend prior to Kellan's birthday we let him tear it open.
Of course, this was with the help of his excited, patient and helpful big brother.
Whatever could it be but a box with Thomas on it.
As Kellan says "choo choo, choo choo!!"

Hours of good times are to be had in this train tent.
It didn't take long for the activities (coloring books this time) to move in and the toes (which I missed as I picked up the camera) to move out.
Thanks for kicking off Kellan's birthday with a CHOO CHOO, Grandma and Grandpa. The train tent was a BIG hit!!
