A Golden First Friday

One of the reasons we love living in Golden is for all of the small town community activities.  In the summer, they have First Friday.  Every Friday (in the summer) They block off Washington street for live music, food and entertainment.  Fridays are always a bit of a gamble for us since by then, the boys are usually exhausted from the week before.  This particular Friday, Kellan's budding teeth decided to rear up and bother him again.
We rolled on down to Washington to meet up with Jen, Craig, Parker and Benjamin.
They had secured a table at one of the local deli's, right in front of the circus school performers.  Who knew there was a circus school in town?  Who knew there were parents who would let their small children swing from ropes and bars that high above concrete?  Entertainment in the name of danger.  The boys loved it!
Parker worked his way to a front row seat.  Life is Good!
Kellan worked his way to a Mama seat.
After some dinner we headed to the park where on every Fridays in the month of August they have movies in the park.
Once again, Kellan insisted on showing off his muscle power by pulling the wagon all by himself.
Sadly, Kellan's teeth and the wind got the best of us and we didn't make it long at the park.  A storm was threatening to blow in and there was a storm brewing in Kellan's mood as well.  We ended up leaving before the movie began but we bribed Oliver was the idea of watching the movie at home later that weekend.  We appreciate Oliver's positive attitude as occasionally his fun is cut short due to his little brother's shorter tolerance or attention span.
