Can't Believe that Kellan's Four!

It's hard to believe that Kellan is FOUR!
He's our baby and youngest son.  In our minds, he's so little, yet four seems like such a big boy.
For his fourth, we had a combined celebration with his buddy Cole.  Cole turned four just three days after Kellan, so it was a perfect fit.  The two of them jumped feet first into their fourth year at Jump Street.

We were the first to arrive at Jump Street and I couldn't help but watch with pride as Oliver walked with Kellan to teach him the ropes of Jump Street.
Oliver has a very dramatic demonstration.

In no time, Kellan was tearing up the trampolines.

Kellan and Cole had the trampolines to themselves for the first several minutes.

Oliver always loves the big blow up slide.
Kellan, not so much.
Mommy had to go up to rescue the birthday boy.

Kellan did find a new love for the foam pit.
The birthday boys:
Kellan and Cole.
Oliver has always been a fan of high jumping into the foam bit.
Kellan and his Primrose buddies:
Stephen, Brendan and Kellan.

For a treat at the end, a candy bar.
Kellan and Evan were having a real tough guy show down.
Pizza Time!
Samantha and Oliver
Oliver, Owen (the big brothers) and Gore.
We were so excited that Grandma and Grandpa were able to be here for the celebration.
My Mama and Me.
I sure do love her!
Kellan's masterpiece cake from Das Meyer.
Happy Fourth Birthday, Big Guy!
You're getting so big, buddy.

"My Birthday?  Ahh Shucks."
Make a Wish.
After both Kellan and Cole had a birthday song and a birthday wish, they each got to dive into birthday cake.

Kellan's birthday cake trucks were a big hit.  He wanted one on his plate, so while it was there, it pushed his cake a bit.

Not only was the cake good, but the sugar in the dump truck was finger licking good as well.
Even Samantha wanted in on the sugary treat.

SO GOOD!
Hey, Hey, The Gangs All Here.
After all of the birthday cake formalities were complete, it was time to dive into the candy bar.

Oliver and Kellan enjoyed comparing their loot in the goodie cups.
Argh Matey.
Samantha and Kellan giving each other the one eye stare down.

The boys had a fantastic party and loved every minute of it.
After all of the party fun was over, we headed home for fun with gifts.
Kellan was two thumbs down for a photo op.
He was two thumbs up for gifts.
He was two thumbs sideways for more photos.
He was two thumbs out for being a cool dude.
Kellan was super excited to get some new puppies from Grandma and Grandpa.  He had just been saying that he was sad that he didn't have any puppies in his stuffed animal collection.

Puppy Love.

I love all of the open mouth expressions for this one.
Yes, Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Brian sent Kellan a nerf cross bow.

Whoa, More Puppies!

Then, it was time for the grand gift from Mommy and Daddy.
He was so excited!
A new bike!
Complete with pedals.
Oliver was SO excited to present it to him as he had put it together with Daddy the night before.

As the rain came in, the party moved indoors where Kellan gave each and every puppy some love.

He also gave his nerf cross bow a try.
He's a four year old with many interests.
Happy Birthday, Big Boys!
We are So proud of you and love you with all our hearts.

I want to adopt them. Both of them. For keeps.
