The reunion concluded on Sunday morning, Fathers Day.
The breakfast theme of the week was "you eat where you sleep" except for Fathers Day since we had a nice grand finale breakfast with the whole family.
Keith is an AMAZING Daddy and his boys love him to pieces. They couldn't ask for a better Father to guide them, support them and encourage them laugh and have fun. The three of us love him very very much.
The Wyoming Hamiltons were gathered all around for the grand finale breakfast. Brian with Hailey, Lauren, Kaden and Stephanie. Can you tell from Kaden how much fun the kids had and how exhausted they all were?
Aunt Carol and Nana keep a curious eye on the Father's Day gift Papa received.
Aunt Penelope and Uncle Art from Missouri.
Lindsey and Jeff, the Texas Hamiltons.
My snuggle bug, Isaac.
The family enjoying their last morning together and exchanging Fathers Day gifts.
Keith and Brian with all of their munchkins.
Papa got a Kindle from his boys and their families. Papa was very excited to read books on his new gadget. William was very excited to have a new gadget around to explore.
William taking a few laps after breakfast.
The Three Sisters and our hostesses for the weekend:
Penelope (Missouri), Jacquie (Wyoming and Texas) and Carol (Louisiana)
Keith's cousin Barry showing him a new fishing loure that his Dad (Uncle Bill) got for Father's Day.
Then... Oliver's got the camera:
So... this is what they see when their Mother looks down toward them. Always smiling (right?)! (except when they get the "mom" eye!)
Jeff and Isaac
The guys standing around having "guy talk".
Bill, Uncle Bill, Barry, Will, Kellan, Keith and Brian
Kaden is ready for a nap!
Oliver (back ground) and Lauren were busy creating a master piece.
Oliver drew a picture of his favorite vacation moment; riding the wave runner with his Daddy.
The Sisters were having fun watching the kids playing and Aunt Carol was mimicking Williams actions.
Sometimes, a few self portraits are enough to keep the boys entertained.
Nana watching Lauren create her master piece.
Oliver must have the camera again.
What did we ever do for entertainment before digital cameras?
After breakfast and visiting, we jumped in the car and headed to the Little Rock airport to find our flight was an hour delayed. In that extra hour the boys discovered the massage chair. We put $.50 in and waited for the good vibrations to begin.
Kellan checked the change machine to make sure everything was in operating order.
Then... something began to shake, rattle and roll.
WHOA Buddy!!!!
Who knew a massage chair was so much fun at $.50 for 3 minutes!
As we waited for the airplane, Oliver taught Kellan how to play iPad games.
We had a great flight home but neither boy took naps like we had hoped. Yet, as we approached Denver and the landed gear was dropped, Kellan cuddled up on Keith's lap in his fetal sleep position. Just as the wheels touched down, so did his eye lids and he was down for the count. He was so tired that we moved him off of the plane and into the stroller where he napped for the next hour as we maneuvered the airport.
Even through baggage claim, the ZZZZ's kept sawing on.
Most Dad's may have been golfing, fishing, grilling or relaxing in their Lazy Boy. Not Keith. He was the family sherpa and got us from baggage claim to our car, with not one complains. Even when the paparazzi asked for a photo. For this, he should win the Father of the Century award.
We had an amazing vacation and a great time with family. MUCH Thanks to the Davisson Sisters for coordinating and hosting main event.
