Race Track Birthday Wish

Since we visited Washington last summer (2010), Oliver has been asking for a criss-cross race track like his cousin Rio's.  When we went back for a visit in February, his first order of business was to go to Rio's house and play with the criss-cross race track.  This past summer, a box arrived with a gift for Kellan and another for Oliver.  It has been in our basement since August and Oliver has continued to ask for a criss-cross racetrack.  One week prior to his birthday, the mail man miraculously delivered this box to our porch step.  Someday, when Oliver can read this, he can criticize us for holding out on him for two months.  Until then, he is completely satisfied with the fact that his gift was here one week early.

There are numerous videos of the race track unveiling.  Since I still can't get videos larger than about 20 seconds to upload, they are in small segments.

Kellan loved the excitement as well and enjoyed helping Oliver with his gift.

Once Keith put the track together, the boys took the hot wheels out for a spin.
It didn't take long for Kellan to find the on/off switch and use it.

I love watching the boys play together and have fun.

This picture is for the pure sake that Kellan has been sitting like this since he was able to sit up and I think it's adorable.  His cute little feet poking out under his adorable bottom.
Happy Birthday Oliver. We are excited that your race track wish came true.  Only a few more days left of being three!
