Halloween at Primrose

Halloween at Primrose came just two days after our first snow.  Fortunately, most of the snow melted just in time for the Halloween parade that had parents standing outside waiting for their ghosts and goblins to march through.
Not all of the cutie pies were marching in the parade.  Some were riding on a Red Flyer Float.
You can see Mr Kellan in the back (far right) of the second wagon.  He's the one missing his hat!
Sometime later the Pre-Kindergarten class came marching through.
Hey look, TWO Spider Men!
Eye Spy.... ???
Can you spy Oliver?
The biggest giveaway (and how I had to find him) is his shoes.  He is the Spider Man on the right.
After the kids went inside they had a few songs for the parents.
Since I still don't know how to down size the videos I had to chop them off at 20 seconds so I could post them here.
The first song is in Spanish.  They start teaching the kids Spanish when they are 2 1/2.
The second song is Five Little Pumpkins.

Five little pumpkins sitting on the gate
The first one said "Oh my it's getting late".
The second one said "There are witches in the air".
The third one said "But we don't care".
The fourth one said "Lets run and run and run".
The fifth one said "It's time to have some fun".
Shut went the gate.
Out went the light.
and five little pumpkins rolled out of sight.

The third song was a surprise song.  You may recognize it.  It's important to end this one with a "Yaaa" complete with jazz hands. (many of these moves we had to see later at home when there wasn't a huge audience)
After the presentation, Daddy stayed with Oliver for snacks while Mommy went in search of her Sock Monkey.
It was snack time for the one-year-olds as well but it was a much different atmosphere.  It was much quieter and mellow in comparison to the four-year-olds.  I found Kellan sitting at a table with his buddies enjoying some munchies.
Kellan keeping an eye on someone to make sure they didn't get too close to his snacks.
With his eyes up like this I think he almost resembles his hat.
What a ham for the camera.
After Kellan finished his snack we headed back over to the wild and crazy Pre-Kindergarten room.  We found Oliver enjoying a snack while Daddy conversed with some of the kids at the table.
This is Oliver's questioning pose.
Hey look, another camera Ham.
The boys having a snack.  Oliver often gets very concerned when his Daddy sits in these chairs and he'll tell him that he's too big for them.
Kellan seems to be enjoying the big kid classroom.  Daddy seems to be enjoying the snacks with Oliver.
Mommy and her two Halloween Hams.

Kellan and Oliver sharing a snack and chat.
Kellan was quick to move in on his brothers snacks and the big stick of glue.
Kellan: Come on Oliver, don't you want to share?
Oliver: Ok, but just one.  Kellan, I said one!  You've had your quota!
Spider Man striking a pose.
Spider Man slinging webs.
Kellan taking the long stroll back to his classroom to pick up his stuff.
I realize it appears that he's falling over in this picture but he is really ok.  Really!
