Cart Seating in Bulk

Oliver, Kellan and I recently tackled Costco for a quick errand after work/school.  On the shopping list: pick-up Mom's contacts, bottled water and baby formula.  We just recently started taking Kellan into stores without his car seat.  Realistically, he has practically outgrown his baby bucket seat.  He has a smidge of growth left before we'll move him into the next version.  However, he is definitely capable of sitting up in the cart.  I was very happy about this when I tackled Costco with both kids and one parent.  I was most excited that Costco doesn't only sell bottled water, baby formula and anything else you may want in bulk but their carts have kid seating in bulk as well.  That's right, room for two!

Dad was golfing this evening, so the three of us were on our own for dinner.  Since Oliver and I are fans of the Costco meal ($1.50 for a hot dog or polish sausage and drink) we picked up dinner to go.  Thanks to the big pictures on the wall, Oliver wanted to try a strawberry smoothie too.  Since we got two drinks with two dogs and Oliver had a smoothie, we had a spare cup.  Kellan was a big fan of the empty cup.  His dinner was waiting for him in the gerber container at home.

That evening, I noticed that Kellan was up on his feet.  He regularly sits up on his knees, but he doesn't pull up to his feet very often.  By the time I got my camera he had leaned down on his elbows from his hands but it's still close.
