In an effort to help Oliver learn to walk, we have been taking the time to walk with him much more. Of course, it takes 10 times longer to get anywhere, but what's the hurry? Sometimes we walk through stores, through the park, through the school and sometimes, it's just to the mailbox like in this picture. Sometimes it's two handed and sometimes it's one. However, when it's one handed, Oliver has a tendency to want to go in circles around the hand holder.
Keith was working with Oliver on his walking in the hallway and he actually took some steps. He wasn't quite as brave with the camera pointed at him, but we captured some of it. (Don't mind the photo hanging work in progress on either side of the hall.) We are very exited that he is making progress. He gets better and better at it every day. I noticed tonight that he was even standing unassisted for some time before we took off for the mailbox.

Better get some good running shoes. It's the only way you will catch him once he decides to take off. And stop rushing him to walk!! I have to have "something" to do when we get there. Okay - I'll just teach him how to skip.
