Valentine Date

On Valentine's Day Keith and I were fortunate that Melanie was available to babysit and we hit the town for a date. We asked her for a free Saturday and she was open on Feb 14. I was stoked! I booked a date for Oliver and Keith was going to book a date for us.

Here we are! Dinner at Campo De Fiori in Cherry Creek.

My only request was an Italian restaurant with white table cloths. They didn't have white table cloths but the food was fabulous!

Since they didn't have the white table cloths, we pretended for a quick moment and Keith put down the white napkin for this photo.

We are so used to being out with Oliver and taking pictures of him, we didn't know how to not capture the evening with photos. Needless to say, we took photos of nearly everything.

We even took photos of the coffee!!

After dinner we decided to go downtown for Mojito's at the Samba Room in Larimer Square. We hadn't been there since well before Oliver and we thought it was a perfect night cap. After driving around for 30 minutes for parking we found our way to Larimer Square and took this self portrait. Yes... we must be getting "old" when we complain about the parking. HA HA!!

Once at the Samba Room with Mojito in hand, we took another self portrait.

I was so bummed that we didn't have any pictures of my red shoes that I wore just to be festive on Valentine's day that Keith took this picture. I love these shoes!

Finally... after many self portraits, we asked the waitress to take this picture.

What a great night. We really should do this more often.
