Cinema Touch Down

We have tripped upon the deal of the century.  Thanks to our dear friend, Jennie, our boys are now Broncos Bunch club members.  Jennie ran across the deal and we jumped on board.  For a one time super small fee, the boys each have a membership until they are 12.  This includes t-shirts, magazines, trading cards, tickets to local attractions and best of all, four annual events.  The first event that we got in on was the movie night.  We all got to sit ON THE FIELD at Sports Authority Field at Mile High and watch Wreck it Ralph on the brand new Jumbotron.  It was AWESOME!!!  All of this, and I only had to give up 10 Starbucks drinks for both boys.  I think they're worth it.

Before the show, we tailgated.  Isn't that what you do before you enter the stadium?  We had dinner and juice boxes for the boys, dinner and adult juice boxes for that parents.  It was perfect.
Before the doors opened, the boys warmed up with a pick up game of football.

Jennie and I relaxed for a few minutes before heading in.
Check us out, front row tailgating!
That will never happen at an actual Broncos game so we had to have a photo.
Once we were inside, we had nearly front row grass seats.  It was SO COOL!!
The boys went to the end zone and played tag and catch.  They Love Love Loved it!
Kellan was most excited about all of the horses (typically known as Broncos statues).
"Mommy, look!  A Horsey!"
The boys on the field.
Kellan, Oliver and Owen
Waiting for the show to start with the Dad's.
Eric and Owen with Keith and Oliver
Kellan was past the waiting period and he dialed up a show on Mommy's iPhone while Daddy munched on the free popcorn.
The new Jumbotron
Kellan dialed in to Curious George
Mommy's and Big Boys
Jennie and Owen, Oliver and Carrie
Owen (behind the goal post throwing) and Oliver (front left in green) had a great time playing catch OVER the goal post.
Of course, we had to take a photo in front of the "O" for Owen and Oliver
Of course we had to get silly and cheer "GO BRONCOS!"
Of course, we had to put up a tough pose in front of the Bronco.
(Owen needs more practice for my call outs - "Give me your tough pose" "Yell out Go Broncos".  He's got time.  I'm get him trained up. I think Oliver is well versed. :)
Nothing like a little Ring Around the Goal Post.
Would the Broncos get a penalty for excessive celebrating if they did this during a game?

A view of the movie from the WAY back.
I was shocked that there weren't more people there.  Really, this is the deal of the century.
Once it was time for the movie to start, everyone settled in and looked to the sky.
It didn't take long for people to start laying down and getting comfy.
It was all eyes on the Jumbotron for 90 minutes.

It was a GREAT time!
We all loved it.
There is nothing like the feeling of an NFL field under your bare feet.  Simply amazing.

Then, it was time to pack up and head out, but not before a run down the tunnel to pretend you're a professional NFL player.

What a great night we had!
Huge Thanks to Jennie for the tip.
We can't wait for the next big event.

That is seriously... like... the best family night of ever-ness!! I'd say it was totally worth giving up ten trips to Starbucks for!
