Recall a few weeks back, the Billings came to town and stayed with the Ham Fam. We loved having them here and we were thrilled that they had to come back to town for a quick trip and they were able to spend the night with us yet again. The only downside was that Keith had a business meeting so instead of juggling dinner, we all met at Red Robin (YUM!!) for dinner. It was great to see them and the food did not disappoint. However, Red Robin is undergoing a major remodel that left me with disappointment left and right. Between decor changes and policy changes, I didn't dare ask for balloons at the end because I couldn't take another let down. It's a good thing that we loved our company to pieces to make the evening amazing.
After many many hours in the car and then having to sit still for dinner, Nash was over-the-moon thrilled to be at our house where he could impress us with his new crawling skills and teach the Hamilton boys a thing or two about survival of the fittest.
I really did try to get a photo of the three boys together, but it was nearly the impossible task. See Oliver trying to put his arm around Nash? Well, this was the closest thing to a face-shot I got of the three of them together.
It was rolling and polling all over the place. Nash was quick to exert his force on Kellan and prove that Kellan may be MUCH bigger than him, but that wouldn't stop him. For sure, there were tears before the night was over, and they weren't from the littlest boy in the group. In fact, they were from Kellan because Nash was trying to climb him like a tree.
At one point, Oliver and Kellan tried whispering
sweet nothings in Nash's ear to get him to sit still for a photo. Instead, Nash heard nothing but what he wanted to hear, and it wasn't that he wanted to sit for a photo op.
So instead of photos, there was wresting.
The boys LOVED having Nash here for an over-nighter. They even got to play with him for 30 minutes the next morning before we all went our separate ways.
Nash thought the blocks from Kellan's train were mighty tasty.
Especially for his teething gums and over producing salivary glands.
This was the one brief moment that he paused for a slight smile.
So I quickly snap, snap, snapped some photos.
"That's enough lady, I'm back on the block. Talk to my agent if you want to set up a private photo session."
We loved having Nash and his Mommy and Daddy in town for a visit, even if it was quick. We hope they choose Hotel de Hamilton next time they are in town so that we can smother Nash with smooches and the boys can brush up on their wresting and tree climbing.

Our boys could probably make a fortune as models...
Maybe that's the way to go. We could take a cut... and we'd never, EVER have to say, "You know, we're tightening down around here to save money, so we're taking it easy on Starbucks."
