After six months in our house, we finally painted the boys' bedrooms. It was quick action as we picked paint colors and purchased them on Saturday and painted on Sunday. I found Keith mid-taping in Kellan's room.
We were very happy to say good-bye to the dark brown in Kellan's room.
We were very excited to add some personality to Oliver's bright white walls.
It didn't take long for us to dive into the painting process.
While the temperatures outside were frigid with a fresh snowfall.
Oliver was super excited to see that the walls were finally seeing a splash of color while his brother slept soundly downstairs.
That's right, lime green for Kellan. It matches his big boy bedspread perfect and with a few pictures on the walls and curtains, it will match his bright and cheery personality. Plus, he can now add the color green to his list of colors that he knows.
In Oliver's room, we went for a splash of blue.
Oliver loved watching the painting process and was full of a million inquisitive questions.
Nearly done, but headed to dinner with friends. The finishing touches will have to wait.
Back home after dinner, we removed the tape, moved the furniture back in place and called it a hit.
Something softer in Oliver's room.
Something brighter in Kellan's room.
We are still in need of a few more touches, but all in due time.
