Livin' it Up

Every now and then, it's good to Live it Up!

Saturday we had to go and get Kellan a haircut, shop for birthday gifts and get to a birthday party by 11:00 AM.  Whew!  We are getting so good that we ended up with a full hour to spare.  WHOA!!  What better way to spend a Saturday morning with an extra hour than at Starbucks?

It was a SPECIAL treat day!  The boys each got to pick out their treat of choice all for themselves.

Sometimes, you've just got to Live it Up!

Oliver picked a cinnamon roll, minus the frosting.  

(Ok, his first choice was smothered in frosting and Mom swayed him to frostingless.)

Kellan picked a lemon loaf.  YUM!

He liked to take a bite and then put the loaf back into the safety of his bag.

The claw going in for another bite.

Really, life is grand.

SO Grand!

(these are Kellan's "talk, talk, talk" hands.  I'm not sure if that's what they really mean, but that's what he does, often when he can't get a word in edge wise)

Sometimes, you just have to take a moment, stop at Starbucks, purchase over priced beverages and treats and take time to just be together.
