Jumping in Feet First

Oliver went to ANOTHER birthday party for a classmate at a jumpy place.  I say ANOTHER because they seem to be constant.  This would be a downfall of having a classroom full of kids who all turn 5 after the school cut off for kindergarten but before the New Year.  I was most impressed with watching Oliver jump right in, literally.  Our shy and cautious guy is moving aside for a brave and bold one.  I found him swinging from this rope with his buddy August.  One of them would tip toe to get the rope and swing it to their friend while their friend would try to grab it and swing into the pit.
Jumping In!
Ready, Get Set...
Go!!!
Later, I found him playing dodge ball, a game his Daddy loves and his Mommy despises.  (Something about tortuous childhood PE class memories)  The whole way home he was quizzing me on the rules of the game, wondering if what the big kids told him was true.  Such a smarty pants.

We just played dodgeball in PE this afternoon! Keith should have come up North for a little pick-up game. He could have been exactly like Adam Sandler, beaning small children in the head with rubber bouncy balls!
