Friday night, Oliver and Daddy went to their first High School Football game together. The neighbor invited them to see his alma mater go to battle for a quarter final game toward state. In overtime, the alma mater lost, but Oliver loved each and every minute of it. It was cold out and he didn't complain. He hadn't eaten dinner and he didn't complain. The cheer leaders were just standing around, and he did ask why they weren't doing anything. Someone got hurt on the field and they had to take him away by ambulance and Oliver did ask why they weren't playing the game. Move it buddy!! There's a game to be played!! (kid was ok, by the way) He LOVED it!!!
He did finally get a football dinner of champions: hotdog, chips and gatorade and then he ate every single last morsel of football game goodness.

Okay, let me assure you of this one thing: I think we are Siamese twins, separated at birth, but still clinging tight to our love of fine apparel for our boys... BECAUSE... our twelve-year-old has THAT EXACT SAME SPIDER CAP IN GREEN!!
Exactly the same. Except green. So exactly the same... just different!
