Kellan is quickly out growing his baby bath tub, but he's not quite ready for the big tub. He is just starting to sit up on his own and I think he may just tip over or float away in the big tub. Earlier this month we tried giving Kellan a bath with Oliver and it was a big hit. The bumboo chair is not designed for the bath tub and I would not necessarily recommend this method, but it is working for now. We get Kellan in the tub first, wash him all up and then get him in the Bumboo so he can splash around. Once he is settled, Oliver joins in the fun. They have a great time and it keeps the splashing mess to a minimum. Kellan was nearly flooding the bathroom with all of the splashing from the baby tub.

The photos stopped here but not by choice. Kellan started to tip over and as I went in for the rescue I dropped my (point and shoot) camera in the tub. We let it dry out, but it was toast. Luckily, the memory card was OK so I could save these pictures. I guess it was time for a new camera anyway. Oh, darn :)
The boys did great in the tub together. After we got Kellan out, I heard Keith tell Oliver not to drink the water because Kellan probably peed in it. Oliver said, "That's OK. I did too". Oh great... the joys of boys!!

Oh my word! I just busted out laughing, all by my stinking self, right here at the computer on that last comment! I'm still laughing! Oliver just became my new best-est friend! ("That's okay; I did, too!" Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!!) May he never grow so old that he understands peeing in the bathwater isn't the thing to do! Keep him little!
I'm sure if his brother is in the tub he will always think it's the thing to do. Isn't that what brothers do? Torture each other :)
