While the Cats are Away

While Mommy and Daddy were in Las Vegas celebrating their anniversary, Grandma was with the boys, holding down the fort.  She got them to school, brought them back home, fed them super yummy Grandma dinners and even spoiled them a tiny bit.

Oliver made sure that she understood the school bus routine.
Oliver and Kellan gave her a tour of the local toy store.
Oliver found himself with a super awesome early birthday gift.
Oliver had an early release day at school on Friday, so Grandma and Oliver had a hot date at the lego store that afternoon.  Lego's are Oliver's latest passion and Grandma and Grandpa may have turned up the "spoiling" dial just a tad for this birthday.
Oliver loves legos, it's good fro his brain and he fully understands and appreciates how big and special this gift is.
Or... he just turned up the charm.  That's for Grandma and Grandpa to know.
Thanks for holding down the fort, Grandma.  We couldn't have done it without you!!

Oliver was such a great help. He made sure Kellan and I had all our ducks in a row, we were on time, didn't eat to many sweets (well that one is questionable) and took control of the tv/radio/dvd player like a champ. If you put Oliver in charge you have no worry. He's got it.
