As it should be, there wasn't a lot of labor going on with the Ham Fam for Labor Day. What there was, was a lot of Rest, Relaxation and Pool Time!
We had the annual Labor Day Pool Closing party, but before it got crazy busy, I took a couple of photos of the boys enjoying the pool for one last time.
Oliver has turned into quite a fish this summer. We are very proud of how much he has practiced and how much his swimming has improved. Just in the past couple of weeks he has proven that he can swim the entire length of the pool, right down the middle. He truly loves swimming.
He said "Mommy, take pictures of me swimming"
So, of course, I did!
Kellan has really blossomed in the water too. Here, he is in the kiddie pool but he has turned into a big pool lover as well. He no longer clings to us for dear life, just enough so that he's holding on to something. Next year will be the start of swimming lessons for him. Before we know it, we'll have two fish swimming circles around us.
Daddy is usually in the pool playing with this kids, but now that they are getting stronger in the water, he's finding more and more time to relax, just as Mommy is too. It's Fantastic.

The pool has closed so now we just wait for the snow to fly.
Too bad we are setting records for high temperatures. That Mother Nature lady, she's really showing us who's boss this year.
