We recently took a day to go car shopping to see what options we have for replacing Keith's car. Car shopping with kids can be a challenge, but thanks to technology, the challenge is bearable. At one place we found a nice chair with a pull up table (for laptops) and the kids were happy as clams with a Netflix show.
Sometime after this, the sales guy showed up that Keith had talked to on the phone prior to our stop. He looked at the kids, claimed that they were all set with their technology, ignored the woman standing in front of him and took off out the door while expecting Keith to follow him. I suppose that he thought that the woman, also known as the woman involved in the buying decision and a huge influence on Keith's decision, didn't need to join in the tour of the parking lot. Well... what does he know? I said, "lets go for a walk boys" and we tracked off after them. Keith was happy to have us there for our opinons. The more he ignored me, the more I was happy to let the kids get in the cars to give their opinons. The sales guy, never did say hello, introduce himself to me or hardly acknowledge me. Needless to say, we didn't buy from him and won't be going back there.
