Rub-A-Dub-Scrub! Two Boys in the Tub!

Can you believe that Kelan had his first bubble bath yesterday at 2 1/2 years of age?!
We never use bubble bath because it always dried Oliver's skin out so much.  Since we were having a lazy Saturday morning, we tossed in a few bubbles for fun.  Oliver was excited!!  When Kellan saw the bubbles he beamed and giggled with glee.  Seriously!  I missed those happy moments on camera, but I got several others.  I'm opting for more photos and less words for this post.  I think it was equal fun for the boys in the bubbles and for Mommy with the camera.
Rub-A-Dub-Scrub!

Exploring bubbles for the first time.

Brother See Brother Do!

"Look Kellan, bubbles drip off the letters!"

The bubbles were getting a bit thin and Mommy said "No, you don't need anymore."  She was thinking this because it dries their skin out.  However, the genuinely sad look on Kellan's face changed her mind and she warmed up the tub and added a few more bubbles.

There's a shark in them there waters

Kellan wondering why Oliver keeps moving the bubbles his way while Olive kept wondering why the bubbles were disappearing from around him.

"Rawr, the shark is eating you!!!" says Kellan to his brother.  Such an imagination.
I eventually got tired of seeing Oliver's messy breakfast face through my camera lens so I asked him to wash his face.  What remains is chapped from biting his lower lip when he's concentrating at school.  We're working on breaking that habit before it sticks around too long.

It only took the majority of the bath, but eventually the Santa beard came out.

Kellan getting his first bubble beard.
He wasn't so sure of it at first, but then, he was all smiles.

"HO HO HO"

"Santa Claus... HO HO HO"

Happy Tub Time!
We hope you had a squeaky clean day too!

My heart just melted into an enormous puddle of sticky goo at all that cuteness. This is the best post on your entire blog... You have plum-dadgum overloaded it with adorableness! It's more than a mama's heart can handle...
