Sunday

Last Sunday was a hodge podge of miscellaneous activity. For starters, did you know that your Croc's can be used as a traveling crayon holder? We may have a patent idea here, folks! While lounging in our PJ's Sunday morning, I noticed Oliver putting his crayons in his Croc's. Once they were secure, he would stroll around with his crayons He was too fast for me to get a good picture of that. On another note, do you find it strange that Oliver is wearing shoes with his PJ's? On the weekends we like to move between the house and the deck. Oliver insists on having shoes on to go outside. We find it easiest to slip on the Croc's.

Later that morning we headed over to the Boberg's for brunch. Since they live only a few miles away we thought we would test out our first family ride in the convertible with the top down. Oliver has ridden in the car to school with the top down, but never anywhere else. It was quite fun and the three of us enjoyed the quick ride.
The top is down, the sun is shining, there is a breeze blowing by, snacks and beverage securely and steadily available, what more can a kid ask for?
Well, maybe he could use a nap!
After brunch and on our way home Oliver tried to start his nap. It wasn't quite as easy with the wind and sun whirling around us. We thought the bobbing head was quite cute. I'm not sure he agreed with the look he gave us at the end. I think I've seen that look from Grandpa Garner when he's trying to take a nap. HA HA!!
Sunday afternoon Jen, Craig and Parker stopped by for a visit. We love having them come to visit. We were so much fun that Parker passed out. Wow! We'll have to work on our entertaining skills. HA HA!!
Once Oliver ran around and showed off his latest tricks, he eventually realized that it was boring hanging with chatting adults and he moved his party outside, complete with crayons and his coloring book. Here he is having a peaceful afternoon coloring session.

OK. When did I miss the purchase of a convertible?
The croc-crayon-carrying piece is very clever. Way to go O-Man!
