After the hike... we went to Vail

Once we were done hiking, we headed to Vail to meet up with the Hess family. Geoff Hess and Keith have been friends since Keith was at CSU in Fort Collins. Keith became good friends with the whole family and they were all in Vail. Fred Hess (Geoff's Dad) was having a double knee replacement so Geoff, his brother John and their families all went to Vail. We crashed the party with a visit on Saturday night. The first order of business was a pool party!!! The pool was a little chilly for the kids so they ended up in the hot tub, which was more like a warm pool.

Saturday night we got a resort baby sitter to watch the kids. There were 5 kids all under the age of 4. YIKES! Lucky for her, 3 of them were sleeping before we left. The benefits of the kids wearing themselves out at the pool.

Sunday morning we all met at the Hess condo. Here is Oliver surrounded by the ladies. He loved them and I think that they loved him as well. This is Cecillia, Lila, Oliver and Evelyn.

The only way to see the sights is to be pushed around in a big blue stroller!

Once we got home Sunday night, Oliver was MORE than ready for bed. He was so tired all he could do was put his hand on his head and pass out. What a busy weekend!
