Once upon a time, I was out and about and received photos of my boys mowing the lawn on a large motorized mower.
Nah.... they don't weight enough to activate the mowing function.
As far as these two are concerned, this is a backyard go-cart. For now, at least. Give it a bit of time and these two will be mowing the lawn for us. Until then, they can just go-cart around.

Girl, embrace this with open arms. It's why we have sons... the parents can sit on the patio with umbrellas (both above their heads and in their drinks), while the boys mow on...
