*Snow*

After a very dry and warm winter, winter arrived in one swoop.  The prediction is for 1-2 FEET of snow that started on Thursday night.  Friday morning, most schools were closed but Primrose was open.  Later that morning, we got the call that they would be closing at 1:00.  Oliver couldn't wait to get outside and dive into the snow.
Hooray!
Finally in the *Snow*
Kellan wasn't sure what to make of the snow but he was happy to have his Sherpa pull him around.
Life is rough when you have a tough Dad to pull you around the neighborhood in a sled.
Happy Happy Boys!

Kellan loved exploring the snow.
He thought his gloves were funny too.  He would look at the monster face and giggle.

Hey Handsome Snow Man
Hey Hey!
Mommy dove in for a self portrait.
Someone loves the snow.
Someone else is learning to love the snow too.

It's slow going in moon boots and an extra layer (or two).
14" in the front yard and it has been less than 24 hours since it started snowing.
"Hey Mommy, I'm scuba diving!"
The snow just kept piling up.
Higher and Higher
Oliver Taking on the Back Yard!

16" in the back yard.
O-man Snow-man verifying the measurement.

Kellan slowly making his way to the back yard.
Kellan's not so sure what to make of the mounds of snow in the back yard.
"Up, Up!"
Back to the front yard to get the mail.  Near the mailbox Oliver said "Hey, this snow is yellow."  Mommy yelled back "DON'T EAT THE YELLOW SNOW!!!" Whew!  Quick lesson learned, fortunately not the hard way.

This guys loves the snow!

Watch out!!

Kellan is learning to love the snow as well. Rosy cheeks and all, he couldn't get enough of the cold fun.
When you're 1.5, you still look cute in pictures with runny nose drip and rosy red cheeks.

What a great way to spend a snow day.  We are super excited to see how much snow falls through the night.  It's nearly a blizzard out there!
