This past weekend we got to see the Stack's twice within a 24 hours period. Once upon a time, this wasn't unusual. Lately, this is rare. On Friday night, the boys and I went to their house for some dinner and catching up. Keith had other plans, so it was just the three of us with the three of them. Everyone had a great time.
Kellan, Oliver and Parker pausing for a very quick photo.
Toward the end of the evening, Kellan just wanted his bottle and he was probably wishing he was in bed. He just couldn't get any peace and quiet with the other two monkeys jumping around.
"Seriously people, can't a kid get a quiet bottle break now and then?"
To keep the kids entertained, this was "arms and legs in the air".
Eventually, Kellan gave up laying down with his bottle and he sat up to watch the jumping monkey show.
Kellan: "Dude, before you know it I'm going to be bigger than you. You may want to watch who you're pushing around."
Parker: "Hey, I saw this move on the karate kid. Let's see if I can reenact it".
Parker and Oliver went running off around the corner and Kellan finally got a few minutes to himself.
Parker is a very loving little boy and he loved giving Kellan big bear hugs.
Craig and Jen with all three jumping monkeys. I think Kellan is still dreaming of his bed.

The next morning, the boys were up early and we thought we would go out to breakfast. We tried our luck and as luck would have it the Stack's were up for breakfast too. We all met at 8:00 at Cafe Terra Cotta in downtown Littleton.
Shortly after we sat down I noticed that Parker was pulling his pants down. This reminded Jen that Parker was excited to show Oliver his pull-ups. Parker is working on potty training and he is very excited about his big boy developments. Way to go, Parker!
After breakfast we were enjoying our coffee on the patio and the boys were getting a bit restless so they got down to hunt for bugs.
Parker likes to turn over every stone, or stone rabbit in this case to look for bugs.
Under the rabbit they found a very long and skinny worm. EWWW!!!
After breakfast we took a stroll down the street. Oliver had his squishy alligator and he let Parker pack around his squishy lizard.
The boys with their squishy friends.
Since it was such a nice morning, we convinced each other that we should go to the park instead of heading off to do responsible things like household chores. This park was great and came complete with playground equipment, a sand box and a water feature. Jen told me they wouldn't get too wet. Oliver was soaked when we were done and got to ride home nearly naked. The good times of summer!
Oliver waiting for the water to sprout.
The Dad's may have looked like they were just hanging out on a swing, but they were actually on Kellan duty. He was sound asleep in the car so we left it running with the AC on. We didn't want to get too far away.
Parker waited and waited for water to come out of this spout and it never did, for him.
The boys moved over to the swings for a while.
Oliver perched upon the spout that Parker was waiting on and he struck H20!
This is Oliver trying to push the button so that Craig would get a shower.
Craig may have helped out a bit and then he and Keith waited in the dry spot under the water fall until it was done. Tricky, tricky!
Thanks for a great visit Stack family!
