This past Saturday Keith and I went on a date night. Our first in many many months and it was LONG over due.
We kicked it off at an old favorite, Stellas Trattoria in Highlands. We hadn't been there since my 31st birthday when I was pregnant with Oliver.
Here we are at the bar in the back. We had NO idea there was a bar back there. Clearly, not many people do since it was just us and one other couple. Everyone else was huddled around the front door waiting for a table.
At our table, ready for dinner.
After dinner we went downtown to LoDo's. We hadn't been there in an eternity either. We had a great seat upstairs on the deck near the railing with a great view of the street down below. Without a doubt, there was great people watching.
After scoping out our options from the rooftop, we opted to go to the Cowboy Lounge next. It was a great choice. For the next few hours we danced the night away. It was SO FUN! Keith's favorite line of the night was when I yelled out "8th grade flash back" when the song "Pour Some Sugar on Me" came on. Ahh... some songs are just classic.
After a great time of a little country swing dancing followed by 8th grade flash backs, we headed home. Larimer Square always does a great job of decorating and this weekend was no exception.
