Tiny Tunas

Saturday, Oliver started up the Tiny Tunas swim lessons.  It was his first time by himself, outside of the parent and tot swim lessons.  He's been getting more confident in the water, which helps.  He also signed up with his friend Cadence, which was a HUGE help.  Cadence and Oliver just happened to be in the same parent and tot class last year so we coordinated to be in the same class this year.  They have been together since they were both infants at Primrose.

After they called off the class, Oliver and Cadence headed off hand in hand.
There were suppose to be four Tiny Tunas but only two were there, Oliver and Cadence.
Here, the instructor AJ is trying to talk Oliver and Cadence into jumping in the pool.
You can see that they finally jumped in and the pool isn't very deep.  Here they are blowing bubbles and the turtle (orange bucket) is blowing bubbles back.
Swimming around, or stopping to giggle.  Either way, they're getting used to swimming on their own.

Here they are racing to the edge of the water.
Toward the end of the lesson they were racing each other around the pool with pool rings for steering wheels.  It was very cute and Oliver did great but I didn't get any pictures.  Oops, the Mommies may have been having too much fun chatting.
Oliver and Cadence kicking on the side of the pool.
These two had an absolute blast and 30 minutes flew by.  They giggled and giggled the whole time.  At the end of the lesson their instructor AJ said they were a lot of fun and very funny kids.
Toward the end of the lesson they got to go down the slide.
Weeee!!!
Having Fun!
These two have a few more weeks of lessons.  I'm excited to watch them grow as Tiny Tunas.
