Last Sunday, we went to Anderson Farms in Longmont, for the third year in a row. We love it! It is a great way to celebrate the arrival of Fall and we usually luck out with great weather. The Hess family joined us for the second year in a row. We always have a great time with them as well.
Stephanie, Carrie and Kellan.
Stephanie is expecting a baby boy at the end of the month. We can't wait to meet him.
For the first time ever, Keith rode in the barrel train. He later told me that it was almost a painful experience. I smiled and remembered back to the past two years when I rode with Oliver. Next year, Oliver is on his own in his own barrel.
Getting ready to take off.
Evelyn and Freddie are in the first two cars.
Keith and Oliver riding around. In this photo, Oliver is yelling at me "watch out, Mom" just in case I didn't notice a barrel train headed my way. That's my boy! Always thinking of safety first.
Oliver had his first pony ride and he loved it!
Now every time we see horses he asks to ride them.
Evelyn and Freddie are on the ponies following Oliver.
The three kids trying their hand at milking a cow.
This photo makes me think Freddie is wondering where this cow came from. It's not like any he has ever seen.
Kellan took the day in stride and enjoyed strolling around the farm.
Oliver and Freddie checking out the chickens.
Evelyn and her Dad, Geoff.

Hunting for the perfect pumpkin on this perfect 85 degree day in October!
Oliver found this pumpkin right off and decided it was a keeper, until he tried to pick it up.
We decided to keep looking.
Evelyn found her perfect pumpkin.
My favorite part of the day, the annual Hamilton family photo.

We can't wait to meet your new addition soon!
The kids with their perfect pumpkins.
This was too cute!
Evelyn and Oliver on the way back to the farm.
These kids crack me up. Oliver was pretending to be shy.
Then when he was ready to smile, the other two kids were all smiled out.
Once we were back to the main farm area, Oliver insisted that he could pull our pumpkins all by himself. He did a great job!
Then, he wanted to ride in the wagon while we waited in line to pay.
After we paid for the pumpkin, someone had to put the stickers on the pumpkins to show that we paid for them. He was anxious to do it himself.
We had a great day at Anderson Farms. We hit the perfect weekend with sunshine and record high temperatures. The following weekend was raining and cold. I look forward to it already for next year.
As we were walking back to the car, I was pulling Oliver in the wagon and he said to me "Mommy, I had fun today". When I asked him what his favorite part was he thought about it and said "the pumpkin patch". Ahh... Good times!
