Happy New Year!!

To Ring in the New Year we went downtown for dinner at the Chop House with Jen and Craig. Before heading out we took a few family photos. Here is Keith and Oliver ready to hit the town.

Oliver found himself a new set of drums thanks to the leftovers.

We took a stroll downtown in search of a carriage ride. Most days there are more carriages than we would ever need and you can't walk a block without running into one. On New Years Eve we only found one and it was occupied. We asked the driver where to find another carriage and she said there were two others but they were full and they were closing down early because of the fireworks display that was starting at 9:00. Bummer! So then, after seeing a plentiful amount of pedi-cabs, we thought we would take one of them since it was kind of (ok, not really) like a carriage ride. Of course, once we wanted one of those we couldn't find one of them either. So... we opted to stop and take a picture at Union Station. Not as much fun as a carriage or pedi-cab ride, but not a bad third choice.

Like most kids on New Years Day, sleeping in isn't an option. Oliver was up bright and early at 6 AM. UGH! Here are some fun photos and videos from him and I playing this morning.

Off to the park!

It is a little overcast today but in the 50's so we took a stroll down to the park.
