This fall, Kellan was back out on the soccer field ready to kick up his heels and show us his fancy footwork. Looking back at these photos, I realize that he probably needed some new shin guards as his legs have clearly grown. Oh-well, he didn't seem to notice.
Kellan was never short of flair on the field.
Mama got a new camera lens and Kellan flashed his dimples and baby blues.
Allesandro and Kellan had fun playing on the same team again.
Snacks are always a highlight.
One day, Kellan even threw in a bit of Tai Chi before kicking the ball. He doesn't lack imagination and he puts it into action, often.
He loves to discuss the plan with his teammates.
This kid LOVES his water.
Kellan gives the season a thumbs up. He had some great plays and several goals. It's so fun to see him improve season over season.
Thumbs up or not, he declared at the end of the season that he would like to have a jersey throwing away party. That's right, he's calling it quits on his soccer career. He has discovered that he has passion for other sports and activities and it's time to pursue those instead. Good thing that career choices aren't usually made when you're 6. He will likely change his mind a dozen times in the next decade.
